RRI is proud to announce the selection of its Fall 2025 cohort, a team of 15 exceptional individuals chosen from a record 6,700 applicants—a pool more than four and a half times larger than the previous cycle.

RRI is proud to welcome four world-class experts to its Scholar’s Council: Thomas Garrett, Dr. Julie Ficarra, Dr. Dave Silberman, and Dr. Diana Owen. Their combined expertise in democracy promotion, education policy, psychological well-being, and civic education in the digital age will greatly strengthen RRI’s mission to advance civic engagement, democratic resilience, and leadership development.

The Ramos Research Institute (RRI) is proud to announce the launch of the Policy in Action Lab (PAL), a new initiative designed to translate research into real-world policy impact. Slated for full launch in August 2025, PAL will serve as a policy incubator that works directly with schools, municipalities, community-based organizations, and internal research teams to deliver research-backed assessments and tailored policy guidance.

On April 25, six members affiliated with the Ramos Research Institute (RRI) presented original policy research at the inaugural Cornell Policy Review Research Symposium, hosted at Cornell University’s Ithaca campus.
