Ithaca, New York — October 21, 2023 — Sacred Heart University Alum Alejandro J. Ramos, Director and Founder of Ramos Research Institute, to Attend "The Future of the Connecticut GOP" Event Featuring Dr. Gary L. Rose's Book
Fairfield, Connecticut – October 20, 2023 – The Ramos Research Institute (RRI) is pleased to announce that its Director and Founder, Alejandro J. Ramos, will attend "The Future of the Connecticut GOP" event, sponsored by the Sacred Heart University College Republicans. This event will revolve around the book "Connecticut Republicans: Past, Present, and Future" authored by Dr. Gary L. Rose.
"The Future of the Connecticut GOP" event, scheduled for Tuesday, October 24, 2 p.m., at the Loris Forum, Martire Center for Liberal Arts, 5401 Park Avenue, Fairfield, will feature a discussion on the history, current state, and future of the Connecticut Republican Party, drawing insights from Dr. Gary L. Rose's comprehensive research.
The panel will include esteemed individuals from across Connecticut politics. The distinguished panelists include:
1. Laura Devlin, former member of the Connecticut House of Representatives and 2022 Candidate for Lt. Governor.
2. Senator Ryan Fazio, representing the 36th District in the Connecticut Senate.
3. Chris Healy, former chair of the Connecticut Republican Party.
4. Senator Tony Hwang, representing the 28th District in the Connecticut Senate.
5. Jayme Stevenson, former First Selectwoman of the Town of Darien and 2022 Candidate for the 4th Congressional District
6. Terrie Wood, former member of the Connecticut House of Representatives.
Moderators for the event will be Gary Rose and Ben Proto, Chair of the Connecticut Republican Party.
Alejandro J. Ramos served as Dr. Rose's research assistant during the creation of "Connecticut Republicans: Past, Present, and Future." The book delves into the rich history and evolving landscape of the Connecticut Republican Party, making it an invaluable resource for understanding the party's trajectory.
