Welcoming New Research Associates and Recognizing Excellence
ITHACA, NEW YORK – January 9, 2025 — The Ramos Research Institute (RRI) is proud to announce significant updates to its research team as it continues to grow and tackle critical issues in public policy. We are excited to recognize the exceptional contributions of Kelly Conroy, a Fall 2024 intern, by promoting her to Junior Research Associate. Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome two new Research Associates, Daniel Barth of Columbia University  and Cole Luellwitz of Indiana University, to our team.
Kelly Conroy
Kelly Conroy is a senior at Fairfield University, double majoring in Politics and International Studies, with minors in Marketing and Campaigns & Elections. During her internship at RRI, she played a pivotal role in the second installment of the fast fashion series, focusing on public policy implications of its environmental and economic impacts. Her work showcased her dedication to meaningful research, and we are excited to see her grow as a Junior Research Associate.
Daniel Barth
Daniel Barth is a first-year graduate student in Instructional Technology & Media at Teachers College of Columbia. His research focuses on how digital platforms influence and inform civic and political dialogue, particularly the ways online media affect news consumption and dissemination. In addition to his academic work, Daniel is a research assistant on two upcoming books, one for HarperCollins and the other for Penguin Random House. His expertise will enhance RRI’s efforts to address critical issues in media and civic engagement.
Cole Luellwitz
