Job Description:
As a Social Media Intern at The Ramos Research Institute, you will be an essential part of our digital outreach efforts. You will work closely with our social media team to develop and execute engaging content, interact with our online community, and help raise awareness of our research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in creating and curating engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
● Schedule and publish social media posts and updates that align with our institute's mission and research focus areas.
● Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
● Collaborate with the PR team to cross-promote research findings, events, and initiatives through social media.
● Assist in brainstorming and executing social media campaigns to increase our institute's online visibility.
● Conduct research on social media trends, competitors, and best practices.
● Help track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights for

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Passion for social media and familiarity with various social media platforms.

  • Creativity and the ability to generate engaging content ideas.

  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling tools is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Interest in research and the ability to convey complex ideas to a diverse online audience.
